We have a crisis in America. More than 1,000,000 women are involved in the justice system. This is the fastest-growing segment of the prison population, and it impacts not only them as individuals but their families as well. More than 50% of women have 2 or more children under the age of 18. When women are released and begin to re-enter society, they must figure out how to survive and how to reunite with their families.
Many are faced with homelessness and lack the basic necessities we all take for granted. As they re-enter, they need support, access to opportunities, job training, and a chance to become contributing members of their community.
In partnership with New Jersey Reentry Corporation, we are helping women reclaim their future through job training, education, and wellness programs. You can help us change the narrative for these women by helping us raise $100,000 for emergency micro-grants that provide them with the stability and basics so they can begin the hard work of creating a better future for themselves and their families.
Make your gift today! All gifts of $1000 or more will be recognized on a special donor wall at the New Jersey Reentry Corporation’s Training Center.
